"Jenson Button and the McLaren Mercedes pit crew in 2012. This painting is something uniquely special. Capturing an all-chrome livery and helmets was a real challenge, but one I like to live for. It wasn't originally my plan to include the overhead cables, but after completion, I decided it needed another layer of depth and detail to the piece, something appreciated more in person. One of my favourite aspects has to be the helmets, each one has the intricate details of its surroundings reflecting in it"
