This piece captures the unforgettable moment at the 1991 Silverstone Grand Prix when Nigel Mansell gave Ayrton Senna a lift back to the pits.
It’s a concept I’ve been exploring for a long time, refining it through many iterations until arriving at this final composition. The smooth, sweeping curve of the white line perfectly frames the contrast between Senna’s helmet and the vibrant red backdrop.
I wanted the surfaces to feel fluid and refined, echoing the motion of the car against a clean, abstract background.
